The Knitting Factory, Spokane Washington – On a cold evening in Spokane, The Devil Wears Prada took to the stage for their long-awaited Flowers tour, and from the moment the lights dimmed, it was clear: this wasn’t going to be just another metalcore show. As frontman Mike Hranica stepped forward, his voice a guttural force that carried across the venue, it was impossible not to feel the weight of the band’s evolution. Gone were the wild thrashes of their earlier days, replaced by a more refined, atmospheric intensity. The sound, a blend of melodic intricacies and bone-crushing breakdowns, showed off the breadth of the band's Flowers album while still pulling from their roots. It was an act of balance something the band has mastered over years.
Visually, the band was in their element. From the sharp contrast of a neon portal with the bands logo and floral projections to the minimalist stage setup, The Devil Wears Prada crafted an environment that felt both intimate and vast, pulling the audience in with every note. Guitarists Jeremy DePoyster and Kyle Sipress traded licks with effortless precision, creating a sonic landscape that was lush in moments and razor-edged the next. As the set built towards an emotionally charged climax, the intensity of the performance mirrored the album’s thematic darkness and hopefulness. Fans around me were not just singing along, they were living it, every scream and breakdown resonating deeply.
This was an all ages show, and you could tell everyone was welcome. Suspect teenagers were safely crowd surfing and that goes to show what type of fans The Devil Wears Prada has accumulated since 2005.

By the time the band wrapped up with “Sacrifice” and “Chemical,” the crowd was electrified, and it was impossible to ignore the connection that had been forged between the stage and the pit. For all of The Devil Wears Prada's sonic evolution, the raw energy and authenticity that defined their early years were still there, but now, it had been woven into something bigger. Something beautiful, even in its brutality. The Devil Wears Prada continues to solidify their place as one of the most innovative and influential acts in modern metalcore. The Flowers tour is a celebration of where they’ve been and a bold statement of where they’re going. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE
