Click Ahead is a metronome and guided practice app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Information stored on your device

Click Ahead stores practice names and settings, your weekly schedule, completed-session history, tempo and difficulty records, musical benchmarks, focus areas, and app preferences on your device. The app does not require an account and does not provide app-operated cloud sync.

Microphone, analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app generates metronome sounds and may use your device’s system speech feature for prompts. It does not record your microphone or automatically assess your playing. The app does not use advertising or analytics services, or request camera, location, contacts, or advertising-tracking access.

Importing and sharing practice routines

When you import a routine, the app reads the JSON file you select. When you export, it creates a JSON copy of your practice catalog and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose whether and where to share it. Exports contain practice routines—not session history or preferences. Copies sent to another app, person, or storage provider are subject to their own privacy practices.

Device backups and deletion

Your device or cloud-backup settings may include app data in backups. You can delete practices and benchmark records in the app. Deleting a practice also removes its schedule assignments, but does not delete completed-session history. The app does not currently offer individual session-history deletion or a complete reset control.

On iOS, Delete App removes the app and its local data; Offload App preserves documents and data. Backups and copies you previously exported or shared may remain and must be managed separately.

For support or privacy questions, email clickahead@soundglare.com. If you contact support, the information you include in your message will be sent through your email provider and received by the support mailbox. Please don’t send passwords, sensitive information, or a full practice export unless you intend to share it.
